Beginnings and Endings

After having spent almost its entire existence in the 198-seat Sir James Dunn Theatre, the Festival is presented for the first time in the brand new 300-seat Joseph Strug Concert Hall at Dalhousie’s Fountain School of Performing Arts, a space purpose-built for chamber music performances.

In October, after living with Parkinson’s Disease for nearly a decade, Chris Wilcox passes away. The 2024 festival is held in his memory, and features a free concert with some of Chris’s favourite works.
