Scotial Distancing

Planning for the 2020 Festival is well underway when the COVID-19 pandemic reaches Nova Scotia, and everything must come to a halt. In place of the in-person festival, a two-week virtual festival titled Scotial Distancing is mounted, featuring a mix of live-streamed concerts, interviews, and archival performances from past festivals. The concerts are well-viewed and much appreciated. In 2021, when COVID cases flare up and the in-person festival needs to be cancelled on short notice yet again, a second edition of Scotial Distancing is presented.
