In 2023, the great Canadian pianist Heather Taves undertook the truly monumental task of studying and performing all 32 of Beethoven's piano sonatas. Over the past year, she has read, performed, thought, and blogged about Beethoven and his world. Tonight's selection of sonatas presents those that were dedicated to the women in Beethoven's life.
